54th Annual Festival of Lessons and Carols
New seating policy in place. Please see below for details.
This year, we are making a significant effort to improve the experience for everyone who attends Lesson and Carols. We hope to eliminate the need for guests to wait outside the chapel before the service begins. To achieve this goal, we are allowing guests to reserve seats for their preferred service.
Based on the experience of past years, we expect each service will be filled close to capacity. Therefore, we encourage you to make a reservation if you want to be sure to have a seat.
The Festival Service of Lessons and Carols will be celebrated with three services. To reserve seats, click on the link for your preferred service below.
- Saturday, Dec. 7 at 5 p.m. SOLD OUT
- Sunday, Dec. 8, at 5 p.m. SOLD OUT
- Sunday, Dec. 8, at 8 p.m. SOLD OUT
All services are in All Saints’ Chapel.
Prior to each service, the University will host receptions around campus, allowing guests a chance to visit with others attending the service. At the reception, guests will pick up a will call ticket ensuring a seat at the service. Reservations not picked up at a reception will be released for walk-up guests.
Please know that reservations and tickets are not for specific seats in All Saints’ Chapel. However, we are dividing All Saints’ into four zones so that guests can select the portion of the Chapel that they prefer. Prior to the service, guests will proceed from their reception to the chapel for seating within their zone.
Disabled parking is available along Georgia Avenue near Guerry Auditorium and immediately in front of All Saints' Chapel. If you need assistance from your car to your reception or from your reception site to All Saints' Chapel, please contact us to make special arrangements. We are happy to assist.
