Get Engaged!
Sewanee offers an array of ways for students to find themselves. Students are encouraged to express themselves and their passions in various ways.
Get engaged by:
- Serving in the community: Check out the Outreach Office's service trips and local action.
- Expanding your horizons in Community Engaged Learning (CEL) classes, where academic courses meet community members where they live, work, and go to school.
- Enlarging your mind in independent and collaborative student-faculty research through the Career & Leadership Development and Office of Undergraduate Research.
- Exploring the beautiful 13,000-acres wooded campus on top of the Cumberland Plateau with the Sewanee Outing Program (SOP).
- Leading and serving in campus leadership activities, student organizations, Greek letter organizations, or student government.
- Hanging out and while making new friends, expand your cultural sense at the Multicultural Center.
