Our Greek Community, composed of 12 fraternities and 9 sororities, serves as a unique outlet for community and student involvement, development and leadership. Our organizations contain many campus leaders, and also have a strong commitment to community service in the area. We also have some of the oldest chapters and chapter houses in the nation on our campus. Each year, our fraternities and sororities are looking for new students to continue their legacy. First-year student new member recruitment ("rush") occurs in January, and upper class student recruitment occurs in the fall semester. Enjoy exploring Greek Life at Sewanee!
