Sewanee students are very fortunate to be able to apply for a portion of the $350,000 available in funding for unpaid internships. Around 150 students receive this funding to do internships in 20 states and 20 countries each summer. Visit Career and Leadership Development for more.

In addition to internship opportunities, the University also offers meaningful undergraduate research experiences. Students can either collaborating with a faculty member or set out on their own endeavors. Opportunites, supported and celebrated through Scholarship Sewanee are organized through the Office of Undergraduate Research. One example is the Sewanee Environmental Institute.
