After being closed for about a month, the Sewanee Union Theatre (the SUT) has re-opened with a new digital projector and enhanced sound. The new projector replaces the 35mm workhorse that, at the end of a long tour of service, just could no longer be repaired. On the grand "re-opening" weekend audiences wowed at the high-def images and enveloping sounds of Skyfall. Films for the remainder of the year will include Les Miserables, The Hobbit, and Django Unchained. All are glad to have the SUT back in action!
